Sometimes, families get a bit of wanderlust. There’s nothing wrong with that! That just means that you need to pick a place that’s good for the whole family. Today we’re going to look at the top family vacation destinations around the world.

Daintree Rainforest, Australia

An incredible destination for the whole family is the Port Douglas Daintree region in Tropical North Queensland.

There’s so much to do here! Port Douglas is famously known for the snorkeling opportunities in the Great Barrier Reef, which is home to the largest reef system in the world. If you get the chance to explore the exotic fish and coral reef, it’s something that you’ll never forget! There’s also zip-lining over the canopy of the Daintree Rainforest, not to mention the incredible beaches there. If you need a relaxing getaway, this is the place for you.

Iceland

If you’re looking for something adventurous to do, there’s nothing quite like going to Iceland. Here, you can spot blue whales from a boat, swim in freezing glacier water, and witness Europe’s biggest waterfall. If that’s a little much for you, feel better knowing that Iceland is one of the safest countries in the world. Iceland also knows what families need in terms of unique needs.

If driving in the winter doesn’t pique your interest, be sure to stay in Reykjavik and make day trips. Those adventures mentioned above are only a couple of hours away from each other.

Bali, Indonesia

If the tropical beach climate is more your style, why not visit Bali? It seems like there’s always something to do, whether that’s a festival, visiting water parks, or making a scenic hike through rice fields.

As stated above, it’s warm almost year-round, though there’s a portion of the year (November-March) that’s labeled an incredibly rainy season. However, if you’re going for cuisine, you’re in luck! The food is fantastic and relatively inexpensive. Almost all of the hotels welcome kids as well, so you can do a variety of activities through the hotel’s service. Be it fish feeding, anti-gravity yoga, rice planting, ceramics, or a local walk; there’s never a shortage of things to do.
